Real name: Vasile Dolga

Vasile “Lică” Dolga (b. June 15, 1955, Timisoara – d. Aug. 21, 2019, Timisoara) was the drummer of the Bega Blues Band.
Before joining the Bega Blues Band, Dolga was a drummer in well-known rock bands from Timișoara: Amicii, Pro Musica, Dan Ionescu Electric Version.
In 1990, Lică Dolga performed the percussion part of the piece “Timişoara”, which became the anthem of the December 1989 revolution.
Since 1993, Lica Dolga has started an intense activity in jazz music, along with great Romanian musicians Dan Ionescu, Bela Kamocsa, Johnny Bota. In 2000 he became the drummer of the Bega Blues Band, which he left only at the time of his death.
