Joelma (Almeirim, PA, June 22, 1974) is a Brazilian singer, dancer, choreographer, songwriter and businesswoman. Joelma started her career in 1994 at the age of 19, achieving great success as a singer and dancer of Banda Calypso, formed by her and her then-husband Chimbinha in 1999. After divorce, in April 2016 she released her debut album as a solo artist.

Joelma is a record holder in sales in Brazil with more than 20 million copies sold of her albums and DVDs, is multi-award winning and has received three Latin Grammy nominations
