Born: 28 October 1976 in Helsinki, Finland.

Began her musical career playing the viola from the age of 11 till she was 18, studying at a local conservatory in Helsinki.

After graduating from High-School she moved to Sweden to study Musical Theatre at Kulturama, a Performing Arts School in the heart of Stockholm. In 1998-1999 she was part of the ensembles of the musical "Rent" at Tampere Theatre and of "Les Miserables" at the Helsinki City Theatre for a year. After that she enrolled at the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory and went on to study at the jazz-department of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
