Real name: Héctor Valentín Larrondo Ricardo

Héctor Valentín was born in Havana in 1958. During his long professional life, he has formed part of many Cuban groups as well as his own band including Orquesta “MVS”, “Melodías del 40”and “La Familia”, but he is best known as the lead Singer in Orquesta “Reve” and “Adalberto Álvarez y su Son”. He joined “Reve” in 1985 and stayed in the band until 1989 when he joined “Adalberto Álvarez y su Son”. He stayed in this band until 1990 when he joined the “Familia”. In 1992 he decided to form his own band.
