Sweetblood
After 8,000 Bollywood songs, 1000 weddings, singing on the top of a bar and years of strobe punk delirium; Sweetblood are pushing Friendly Infidel under the back door of bhangra; ready to boogie with the bling of Urdu Rock and Sweet Hindi Bleeps.
Sweetblood were formed by Wajid Rehman, a BD3 refugee and Choque Hosein the last sole survivor of the missing Black Star Liner. After some deft movement in the transfer market Isaac Heyward was brought to the drum stool and Duncan Boak, the lost son of Vinni Riley, to guitar and other machines.
Friendly Infidel started with a "Riyaz Professional" tabla drum machine and was completed using the boom of a Ludwig Kit that belonged to Gerry and the Pacemakers!
