Ivan Chevere is the CEO of M.A.T.E. TRAXX Production Company and has been in business in the Music Industry for over 20 years. With a successful track record Ivan Chevere has been an integral factor in the creation of music productions for many of the industry’s most influential labels in both English and Spanish markets such as “Tommy Boy Records, RCA Records, Next Plateau, Jive Records, B-Boy Records, Philadelphia International Records, SPY Records, Metropolitan Records and many other international record labels such as Prestige Records, BMG/EMI Records, Universal Records, H.O.L.A. Records Echo Records, Easy Street Records, Smack Records and many more. Engineering and Producing from his state of the Art Recording Studio in Paterson, New Jersey, Ivan Chevere has pre-mastered many new releases. He has produced and remixed historically renowned funk/pop group Kool & the Gang where he was the top sound engineer for four years on their world tour. Ivan Chevere has also Produced Juvenile, cofounder of “Cash Money Click,” and some of the newest rap artist sensations in the industry right now such as Lil Flip, Trina, Pete Pablo, E 40 and Young Bloods and many others. In the Latino market Ivan Chevere has produced Brenda K. Starr, a POP and Salsa Icon. He has produced and remixed for one of the Sony Branch, Prestige Records artist George Lomond. He is responsible for many of Easy Street’s CD compilation albums (“Pure Blaze”, “Decade of Dance”, “Cream of NY Garage”, Celebration – A Soulful House Journey” etc.) and has worked extensively with Smack Productions (Adeva, K-Yze, Michael Watford and many other dance music legends. In addition to engineering for many of NYCs major Record Labels he has been part of the Easy Street Records team since the beginning who remixed tracks for De’Lacy; Shawnee Taylor, Lisa Hunt, and most recently, IPO. His recent projects include Anita Colon, a new upcoming Christian music sensation. If M.A.T.E is not recording, engineering or producing, while on his world tours, he is directing and supervising the accuracy of stage sound for performances. Such sound checks include the bands of Hootie and the Blowfish, Gerald Levert, Kid and Play, Run DMC, Gangstarr, Rakim and Public Enemy etc. Not only has he made sure that sound quality for the Artists he has worked with is as pure and accurate as possible during their performances, Ivan Chevere has also made the sound quality for many promotional events even more error proof.
