US funk band originally from Omaha, Nebraska in the 1970s. Bandleader Larry Smith started the group which was later also known as Thundder. The band went through several progressive personnel changes over the years, but still maintained their core unit and theirprogressive funk sound and style. They moved to California and eventually based themselves in Las Vegas.
