American Gospel pianist and teacher.
Besides his solo albums, he played on Evangelist Christian recordings and also released several recordings with organist Lew Charles. He was also a vocal and instrumental music teacher in the Los Angeles public school system. He also was the pianist for four religious radio broadcasts originating from Los Angeles. Magnuson received a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Or Other Religious Recording (Musical) Piano In Concert in 1963.
He appears uncredited in the 1955 movie "Wiretapping", playing the piano behind Evangeline Carmichael.
