Real name: Лев Иванович Токарев

Russian composer, conductor. Born 1923, in Uralsk. Educated from Moscow Conservatory. Conductor of various Latvian orchestras.
Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Conductor of the jazz orchestra of the Latvian Radio Committee (1946), symphonic jazz of the Latvian Philharmonic (1946-1948), Musical director of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Baltic Military District (1948-1961).
Works: for violin and symphony orchestra - Fantasia (1946); for brass band - plays; for pop symphony orchestra - Suite (1953), plays; for pop orchestra - plays; songs with lyrics by Grigory Beilin = Григорий Бейлин, A. Dementiev = Андрей Дементьев, Anatols Imermanis, K. Lapin, Yu. Sosnin = Юрий Соснин.
