Blåkulla

Effective period / Period of releases: 1975

Members: Hannes Råstam, Tomas Olsson, Dennis Lindegren, Bo Ferm, Mats Öhberg, Steinar Arnason

Swedish heavy progressive rock band from Gothenburg, formed in 1971 under the name Kendal.

The influences were initially in the Deep Purple direction, but later more in symphonic rock, such as Yes and Genesis. The band almost split in 1974, when bassist Steinar Arnason left, but after a transformation, the LP Blåkulla (1975) was released. However, this became the band's only record release. One of Blåkulla's members was the journalist Hannes Råstam.
