Born 14 December 1914 in Ljubljana, Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, died 27 February 1988, Ljubljana, Yugoslavia (today Slovenia). In 1975 received the Prešeren Award for his lifetime work in the field of radio and television, film, and literature. Was married to Jana Milčinski.
Not to be confused with his father Fran Milčinski (2).
