German chorus master, born 31 August 1896 in Tachau, Austria-Hungaria (today Tachov, Czech Republic) and died 16 March 1958 in Munich, Germany. He was the chorus master of the Chor Des Bayerischen Rundfunks from 1969 to 1981 together with Heinz Mende.
