In addition to Stone, the band’s original lineup included Alice McClary, Doris Burt, Michael Johnson, Michael Freeman, and Von Cobb. Members of Risse have opened for artists such as David Ruffin, Eddie Kendrick, The Supremes, Sawyer Brown, Mothers Finest, Levert, Millie Jackson, McFadden & Whitehead and Eddie Floyd.
