Mario DiSanto is a sound engineer, producer, and musician. Based in New York, he has been involved in various musical projects, including The Growling Hounds, The Pomelos, and Bad Static.

Growing up, he spent a significant amount of time tinkering with tools and machinery in his father's garage, developing a keen sense of hands-on intuition. This intuitive approach has greatly influenced his unique style of music production.
DiSanto shows a strong passion for the workflow of analog recording, rather than a particular "tape sound". He enjoys the challenge of manipulating the analog equipment to achieve the desired sound, often experimenting with unconventional techniques to achieve a specific effect, and encourages others to have fun in their home recording studios.

Mario DiSanto is the lead guitarist/producer for the female-fronted band Bad Static.
