Real name: Владислав Іванович Заремба
Vladyslav Zaremba (1833–1902) was a Ukrainian composer, pianist and music teacher. He was the author of many songs in Ukrainian and Polish languages, including about 30 vocal works based on the poems by Taras Shevchenko. He arranged and transcribed a number of Ukrainian folk songs for piano.
