Dagoberto González

Real name: Dagoberto Lázaro González

Cuban violinist, keyboardist, arranger, also appears as Dagoberto González Jr., Dagoberto Lázaro González, or Dagoberto González Hernández, son of Orchesta Aragon's violinist Dagoberto Pascual Gonzalez Piedra, and brother of Lázaro González Sibore (Lázaro Dagoberto González, who also played in Orchesta Aragon).
He worked with Manolin El Médico De La Salsa, Pablo Milanés, Los Van Van, Manolito Simonet and others. While much of his work is not Timba, he's been a key figure in the Timba revolution from its very beginning when he wrote one of NG La Banda's first hits, "Lo que siento es le lo ley". He also worked closely with Manolín for years, touring and recording with the band, as arranger, and string and keyboards parts. He arranged or co-arranged, among others, No Lo Comentes, Pelo Suelto y Carretera, Que Le Llegue Mi Mano, and Lejanía.
