Dino DZ is a DJ and Producer, hailing from tiny but vibrant Slovenia. A music obsessive since
early childhood, House was the genre that captured his heart and hasn't let go ever since. At
age 13 he started making his own music, and a mere three years later, production already
became his profession after being discovered by Slovenian's biggest DJ and production team
''Dee Jay Time''. He subsequently partnered with a long-time friend and fellow DJ/Producer Ted
Funke. As a result, DJ gigs followed and thus began a musical livelihood.
As a DJ, he shared the stage with some of the biggest DJs in the world, when it comes
electronic music. Umek, Fedde Le Grand, Mauro Picotto, Ferreck Dawn, Mark Sixma, Ruben
De Ronde, Mike Vale, and Matroda are just some of the names that he has played with. As far
as musical tastes go, he strongly believes that coupled with an irresistible beat, melody and
vocals are the key to the soul! What sets him apart live, is his energetic sets, filled with pure
house music, from classic to the latest and greatest. His motto is: ''As long as the people are
dancing, you've done your job as a DJ!''
As a producer, he has gathered support from some of the largest names in house music. DJs
such as Roger Sanchez, The Shapshifters, Michael Gray, Richie Hawtin, Raffa FL, Steve
Lawler, Glen Horsborough and others have all played his songs in their sets around the world.
His standout track ‘’Damn Phones’’ has raised a lot of attention and has been a favourite of Sam
Divine, Purple Disco Machine and David Penn, thusly making Dino DZ a recognisable name in
the world of electronic music. Club Sweat, There Was Jack And OceanTeax are just some of
the acclaimed record labels that have trusted his musical touch. The songs have also been
featured on globally renowned radio shows (KissFM UK, Data Transmission, Urbana, Let There
Be House, Hed Kandi), climbed charts on Traxsource and Beatport (Overall Top 100, Top 5
Tech-House, and Top 40 House charts), Mixmag Adria (Top 10 House), and are featured heavily
on Spotify (140000+ plays).
