German punk singer, based in London from 1979 to 1986. After the breakup of Necessary Evil (in which she first used the name Stef Petticoat), she 'formed' The Petticoats.

Stef began singing age 2 and played guitar and recorder as a youth before auditioning as a singer for several punk bands in the Aachen - Bonn - Cologne area. She returned to Germany in 1986 and formed 69 Lies in Berlin.
