Mark Adler

American film music composer and former vice-president of the Society of Composers. Adler has studied piano, and was initially a music Major, followed graduation from film school at UCLA, where he studied film scoring. In the early 1980s Mark played keyboards for a number of groups in Northern California, including the Heart Of Gold Band. He also worked briefly as a music editor - for instance on Amadeus, Blue Velvet, and Godfather III. Mark's feature film scores include Food, Inc., Bottle Shock, Picture Bride, Focus and on some of his scores he can be heard playing piano, viz. Eat A Bowl Of Tea, Picture Bride, Focus, Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing And Charm School, and The Lost Valentine.
