It was recorded at Studio East in Milwaukee by engineer Tom Gress in the spring of 1974. The records were delivered and distributed in June of that year. They wanted 'The Fabulous Chefs' on the record, but "Every letter costs money" so that is why it's only credited to 'The Chefs'.Jazzman Records remastered the tune from the original tape and the result was released on their Funk45 label in 2002.
