Júlio de Sousa (b.1907 | d.1966) was a Portuguese artist, writer and poet, as a artist he did paintings, illustrations and sculpture, having also worked as a costume designer and make-up artist for both theatre and film; as a writer he published several poetry books and composed lyrics for several fado compositions, having also wrote the lyrics to "Fado da Loucura" performed by his sister Mariamélia.
