U. Kay Hytz (a.k.a uk heights) are an independent, eclectic band from Petersfield, near Portsmouth. As uk heights they write and perform songs, as U. Kay Hytz they create Ambient/Chill music. Together since 1991; released Ibiza white label “Immaculate” (c/w Interdance – “We’re not into war”) in 1991, since then two CD EP’s (Love and Intent Club/Radio mixes (1998) and Mackeral Skies IYF mixes (2000) - which reached top ten of the mp3.com Electronica chart December 2001, and was included on the Ambient Northern Lights Vol. 2 Compilation from Just Create records). Albums - “So Far” (1995), “Ambients” (2002), “Welcome to Life” (2005), “An acute sense of the absurd” (2006). They are currently performing in Second Life and working on a new EP
