Lillie-Ane Johansson was in NRKs pikekor (Norwegian Broadcasting Company's girls' choir) before she helped start Plann. After their first album, Lillie-Ane released her solo album Forklar Farge. Later the same year, Plann released their second album before splitting up.

Her solo album Forklar Farge was innovative and gained a good amount of attention in Norway, with the song Meg Selv being shown on NRK (Norwegian television) with a music video on March 8, 1983.
