Decal had many name changes, including: Bullet Proof Transmission, Supermodel Slumber Party, and G.U.S..
In 1994 they released their first demo cassette. In early 1995 they released the single "Molotov Cocktails" B/W "Out Of Your Hands". In May 1996, they released the EP "Molotov Cocktails And Other Mixed Drinks". "The Brickster", perhaps the group's most notable song, was in the hit 1997 PC game "Lego Island".
