Jesús De La Rosa

Real name: Jesús de la Rosa Luque

Jesús de la Rosa (1948 - 1983). Spanish composer, keyboardist and singer born in Seville. His first band was "Nuevos Tiempos", a rock band with english lyrics, where he met Manolo Rosa and Rafael Marinelli (later to form "Alameda", and unofficial Triana's bassist).

Later he met "Tábaca", band founded by Carlos Attias, Miguel Ríos' bassist, Emilio Souto, singer on "Los Solitarios" and Eduardo Rodriguez, guitar from "Los Payos". After Attias gave up he entered as bassist and singer in 1973, forming a trio imitating "Crosby, Stills & Nash". But Emilio Souto went to join Moncho Alpuente in "Desde a Santurce A Bilbao Blues Band", and the rest with Tele would found "Triana".

On his Triana recording he played a Fender Rhodes, Moog Voyager, MiniMoog, Farfisa Vip, Elka Rhapsody 610, Hammond B-3 and piano.
