Bill Quinn
Real name: William Robert Quinn
Bill Quinn founded the Houston Gold Star Recording Studio in the early 40s.In 1941 he started a business producing radio commercals and personal birthday greetings. In 1946 he launched Gold Star (2) Records. Lightnin' Hopkins recorded more than 100 songs for the label.
