British R&B group. Active in the early 1960s. The initial line-up of The Cruisers was John Fleet (bass & piano), Roy Barber (rhythm guitar), Frank Miles (lead guitar) and Kenny Slade (drums).

Dave Berry announced he was parting ways with The Cruisers (22) in October 1964, chasing a solo career (although not with immediate effect - shows continued with the Dave Berry & The Cruisers billing for some months). A new backing group for live appearances was mooted, the Frank White Combo (Frank White, Johnny Riley, Pete Cliff and Alan Taylor).
