Aged 14, she started her career as a dancer in Madrid and was later discovered as a singer by Paco De Lucía, who produced her second album "La Primavera" in 1977.
Sister of Joaquín Amador, although on her early releases throughout the 80s she appeared as "Susi", she was commonly known as "La Susi".
