The Rishis are a band that hails from Athens, GA. Ranjan Kumar met Sofia Noelle Musetti Lute at a bistro in Atlanta where she was waiting tables and a musical collaboration was born. Gathering support from their friends from the Elephant 6 collective, they created a sound collage of contributions from John Kiran Fernandes, Lucy Calhoun, James Huggins III, Scott E. Spillane, Peter Alvanos, Andrew Rieger, Charlie Estes, Andy Gonzales, Timi Conley, Chris Byron, and friends.
