Real name: John Lincoln Wright

American singer/songwriter and musician (September 23, 1947 Boston, MA - December 4, 2011 Cambridge, MA).
He was member of the late 60s psychedelic rock band Beacon Street Union and their subsequent incarnation, Eagle (8). In 1973 he switched to country music forming The Sour Mash Boys with whom he played for the rest of his life. Over time, Wright has become a true icon of country music in New England.
