Janez Kuhar

Slovenian choirmaster and composer. Born 10 July 1911 in Vevče near Ljubljana, died 21 May 1997 in Ljubljana.Kuhar is the author of the first partisan opera "Tam nekje v gozdovih". His musical opus contains more than 500 vocal compositions (for children, for choirs, partisan songs, solos). He was the leader of "Otroški Pevski Zbor RTV Slovenija" (Children choir) of many years.
