Kabyle Algerian singer born in the village of Ath Tzikrit, Tizi Ouzou (Algeria) with 6 albums under his belt. He made his first album in 1986 ("Alwaldiniw", meaning "parents"), then his second in 1990 ("Tayri", meaning "love"), then his third album was released in 1994 ("Tamazight", it refers to his ethnic tribe, indigenous people from North Africa), and again his fourth album in 2002 (a tribute to Matoub Lounes). In 2014, he released "Ayahviv Aayigh", (meaning "My friend, I'm tired") and his final album was released in 2022 ("Lawsaya").
