Willie Hatcher
Blues singer and mandolin player, born 28 October 1909, near Clarksdale, Mississippi.
He recorded two titles for Bluebird in 1938, and also accompanied Speckled Red and Sonny Boy Williamson at the same time.
He recorded again for Testament in the mid-1960s, recordings which were not released until 1997.
Do not confuse with soul singer Will Hatcher, often credited as Willie Hatcher.
