Dalton is a progressive rock band from Bergamo, Lombardia, Italy, that was formed in 1972. The band split up in 1979.The band's sound, heavy with keyboards, guitar and flute has been compared to a cross between Jethro Tull and Deep Purple. Dalton released two albums and a number of singles between 1972 and 1979. Compilations and reissues include a number of tracks not included on the original albums.
Not to be confused with I Dalton, an earlier band from the same area which included Mauro Pagani.
