Greenmoney is Alex Phountzi (Bugz In The Attic) and Leo Greenslade (yOyO). What started with a Kanye West bootleg remix has since led to a fully-fledged production/DJ outfit and record label, Greenmoney Recordings.

Greenymoney’s debut artist release, the Gold Ru$h EP came out in summer 2010 on A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs’ Fools Gold Records, and a string of EPs and singles have since been released under the Greenmoney label – including collaborations with artists Roses Gabor, Terri Walker and Mz Bratt, among others.

Remix credits include Busy Signal, Zed Bias, Gyptian and Professor Green and the labels’ growing roster of artists includes releases by Hardhouse Banton, Kry Wolf, Mista Men, Kalbata and Queenie.

The Greenmoney sound is a mixture of house, bashment and broken beats
