The Klidas project was born in 2014 to create a sound that comes from the personal musical experience of each member, from jazz to psychedelia, from alternative rock to progressive. The intent is to reach a point where every act of sound gives way to silence as a prerequisite and indispensable pillar of every listening experience. Hence the name Klidas, a Czech word meaning "giant of silence".
