Philippe Amar studied law in his hometown, but encouraged by a Parisian musical publisher, he moved to Paris, and was sponsored by the famous lyricist Eddy Marnay. After writing songs for many artists, Philippe Amar turned to the cinema, writing screenplay, and more recently, novels.
