Human Electrics is a group with a few celebrities from northern pop music. The group has as singer figurehead Hanneke Kappen and as composer Gerry Arling.
The group records an LP in 1989 with a number of guest musicians. Shortly thereafter we see Gerry Arling and Hanneke Kappen back in State of Soul.
Van Olphen and Arling are reflected in the local jazz scene. Arling and Van Olphen will cooperate more often, including in 2000 the Safehouse project
