Real name: Gabriele Ranica
Gabriele Ranica (1956)Studied electronics and graduated in philosophy with a thesis on color
perception.
Studied music with Maestro Franco Gianella and, thanks to his
knowledge and friendship with Master Angelo Paccagnini, he studied
the issues of electronic music and sound composition, between a
bottle of wine and composition notes.
Since 1974 he has composed music on tape and played in free-jazz and
contemporary europe improvisation groups. Today he dedicates
himself to the teaching of Italian Literature/History and to the new
electronic computer experimentation.
He wrote "Angelo Paccagnini: lo scontento cosmico" (Il Raccolto Ed.)
and "The Open Sound" (self-produced).
