The Tigers

Members: Nick Coler, Nic Potter, Peter Dobson, Tony Jacks, Ross McGeeney

UK New Wave band formed in the fall of 1979. The Tigers initially released their music thru indie label Strike Records, before licensing their first album ' Savage Music' to WEA Records in the UK and Europe, and A & M Records in America. They toured extensively in America during 1980.
Ross McGeeney, lead guitar, had previously been in the band 'Starry-Eyed And Laughing'. Nic Potter, bass player, also played with Peter Hamill's group 'Van der Graaf Generator'. Pete Dobson, drummer, ex- Juicy Lucy. Nick Coler went on to work extensively with Xenomania.
