Filipina-American singer-songwriter, Missy Alcazar is a true renaissance woman with an acclaimed nomination for Best Singer Songwriter at the 2019 San Diego Music Awards. Her music has had sync placements on TV shows such as 90 Day Fiancé. Being a dueling pianist has given her the knack of vocal versatility and extensive pianistic style. You can hear her dynamic range in her last couple albums, sweeping from sweet and angelic harmonies to growling and gritty blues with notes of soul. Her first full length album debut was released Nov 1, 2022 and was completely funded by her Twitch community. This album is dedicated to the "Project Semicolon," non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope to those who are struggling with mental health, suicide, self-injury, and addiction. Her first EP album titled "Come Love Me" was released in Feb 2018, which nominated her for best singer-songwriter at SDMA. In 2019 she released her 2nd EP Album titled "Goodbye" dedicated to the struggles of grief losing her mother to cancer. She's a multi-instrumentalist and was the first resident female dueling pianist at Disneyland's "The Showdown At The Golden Horseshoe."
