The Squires or Neil Young & The Squires were a Canadian band, from Winnipeg, formed in early 60's. Jack Harper was original drummer of The Squires in the early time. Replaced by Ken Smyth who participated to the recording sessions for the single on V Records.The band changed many times their drummer: Al Johnson, Bill Edmondson (Who recorded "I'll Love You Forever" & "I Wonder" in CJLX Radio in Fort William, produced by Ray Dee) and finally Bob Clark (A Jazz drummer)
The Squires were one of the first bands of singer-songwriter Neil Young.
