Scottish-Swedish singer, songwriter, music producer and music publisher, born 14 April 1951.

He lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden where he runs the recording studio Tuff Studios. Among other things, he has produced Ace Of Base (their first three albums), as well as being involved in writing some of their songs. In the 1980s, Ballard released several albums and singles under his own name.
