Italian-born Argentine singer-songwriter, producer and activist born on April 19, 1945 in Gallipoli, Apulia (he also holds Colombian citizenship since 1994).
Piero arrived in Argentina in 1948 (aged 3) with his parents and his sister. In 1968 he meets José Tcherkaski with whom has usually teamed together as a successful songwriting duo, Piero & José.
During his career he toured the US and many Latin American countries. In 2016 Piero received the "Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award".
