Hailing from Brick City (Jersey City) NJ, Flo Brown is a Howard University alumni, who displayed her emcee ferocity at an open mic showcase known as Black Lily at the now defunct Wetlands in NYC in 2003. She has released several mixtape/albums under her Ghetto Abnorm Music LLC imprint and was once associated with the Roots. She has done several guest appearances with Mexicano 777, Kindred, Jaguar Wright, Scratch formerly of the Roots, A Touch of Jazz Productions (DJ Jazzy Jeff), and has also worked on her spoken word projects, SOJA Music.
