Bo Grumpus

Members: Craig Ventresco, Marty Eggers, Pete Devine

The San Francisco Bay Area trio Bo Grumpus recorded several albums of acoustic music from 1994-2003. It's repertoire consisted of ragtime, early Tin Pan Alley popular songs, blues, and more.

Note: The San Francisco group is not to be confused with the late-1960s Boston-based psychedelic rock band of the same name. See Bo Grumpus for information on the Boston group and the origin of the name "Bo Grumpus".

Founding member and guitarist Craig Ventresco was featured on the soundtrack to the 1995 Terry Zwigoff documentary film "Crumb" while the group was active. Drummer Pete Devine later played with Devine's Jug Band and Howell Devine.
