American country and western singer, multi-instrumentalist bandleader and actor.
Born: February 17, 1907 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, USA
Died: December 3, 1948 (age 41) in Fort Worth, Texas, USA

He played (at least) guitar, bass, fiddle, and mandolin. He was a member of the Country & Western singing groups The Bell Boys, Jimmy Wakely's Trio, Jimmy Wakely And His Rough Riders and The Light Crust Doughboys. He also formed his own group Dick Reinhart & His Lone Star Boys. In the late-1930's he was the most frequent lead vocalist of The Doughboys.
