Originally, a Beach Boys influenced group from San Diego. Following a decision to pursue a more Rolling Stone / Them style a second single was released as The Sons. (This single was later reissued (without the group's knowledge) by The Magic Mushroom). After the The Sons single was released, an abbreviated version of the band released a final single as The California Suns
