The Exotics was initially formed in 1959 by a group of musicians from Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX, consisting of Robert Price (lead vocals), Blair Smith (lead guitar), Elliot West (rhythm guitar), Ben Hill (bass) and Larry Lavine (drums).
