Zero

Effective period / Period of releases: 2000 - 2002

Members: Carlos Ferreira, Max (203), Grzegorz Sztyk, Robert Cygan

Dance music band from Poland. Zero consists of three guys from the street:
- Łysy (Bald) (Sztyk)
- Cygan (Gypsy) (Robert Cygan)
- Max
- DJ Carlos (Carlos Ferreira)
-Pablo

In 1998 they stormed the market with hit called "Bania U Cygana" (Jig at Cygan's). The song was awarded by DJ Magazine as the hit of the year 1998. In the band category, they were ranked at the second place even though they had not the whole material ready, and been not shown on the stage yet. The next song they recorded "Jedziemy Na Maxa" (Crazy Party) was also very popular and was ranked very highly at various hit lists.

Zero basically is not the band of one song. What is interesting is that, the band was promoted only in music clubs, where their songs were played. In this way, Zero proved that good songs can defend themselves, without massive advertising on TV or radio.

Since September 1999 Zero played around 80 concerts for 70000 fans in all of Poland. Max left the band, and began his solo career in hip hop industry. In 2008 on his place came Ruii Carlos Ferreira and they start work under second album. Carlos left in 2006, and the group remained as a duo between Cygan and Łysy until the latter left in 2015, eventually being replaced by Pablo. A third album was released the same year.

Their first album was produced and recorded by: Bartosz Piasecki and Zbigniew Bieniak from Art Cafe Studio. The same guys also produced other famous dance records.
